Honestly I ask myself this when I see the sorry excuse for officiating put out there this year. The announcers, Gene Steratore and Mike Pereira, even the players are no longer holding back their dismay over these calls. Even if it’s not rigged, it’s a deteriorating product. It’s like 2012.

Sure. So’s Lamar Jackson, so’s Josh Allen, so’s Joe Burrow. Regardless, the product is rendered less enjoyable/believable when refs consistently make 2-3 consequentially poor decisions per game that coincidentally tip the scale in favor of the Chiefs in critical moments.
