I like that Metroid Dread embraces the fact that Samus is hot, specifically because she's a giant woman in a suit of armor who will step on you.

There are few things hotter than the nonchalant charged beam Samus used, though her *stalking* of that one camouflage boss comes close.

The Dread team very much understood Samus' appeal.

Stargate, on the other hand, only has the one time they put a gate on a star that I can remember.

It was an important moment to be fair, enhanced Carter's reputation.

I think there's like, maybe one movie and one show where stars are really that important.

I guess two of them kinda feature in the Twin Suns moment, which is really nice and evocative, but otherwise yeah, mostly not about stars.
