Yeah. Sam Black once approached me at CubeCon 2023 and gave feedback (and compliments!) about my Peasant Cube, and requested that I put a Gaea's Blessing in there.

Haven't added one yet, but tempted to make the card an exception if Sam ever plays my Cube again. :)

Here is a plot of the proportion of cards with flavor text in each major expansion, along with the year-by-year trend.

There was a big drop-off after 2018 (as we entered "The Commander Era"), but you can see the line trend back upward more recently. EOE continues that trend.

Even if it is banned in Standard, the card is incredible in Commander and is a much-loved Final Fantasy character. I wouldn't stress too much on value.
