First Ural Owl detections are coming in live from the Bavarian Forest National Park. #BirdNET correctly classified its calls and the audio snippets were transmitted.

Last year at the end of July I observed a hornet around an hour after sunset how it fought down, dismantled and carried away the abdomen of a large moth. It wasn't near a light source, but I heard an impressively loud insect fluttering from the top of a bush and it ended like this.
