I feel simultaneously comforted and attacked?
21.11.2025 04:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So... spells.
We're using spells to undo the work we've done... tricking rocks into thinking with lightning.
And trapping evil cars in circles of salt.
The old ways are new again.
Looks like LLMs are *very* vulnerable to attack via poetic allusion: "curated poetic prompts yielded high attack-success rates (ASR), with some providers exceeding 90% ..."

May not work, but an analogy I find useful is βincorporating AI in the classroom is like bringing a forklift to the gym. Itβs gets the work done, but you have bypassed the whole point of being there.β

We particularly need people with expertise in energy systems, sustainability, nuclear science, and manufacturing.

31.07.2025 20:26 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβm really struggling with the article, which is primarily about Elon Musk (indeed, the print title is apparently βThe Man Who Ate NASAββ¦ not sure why they didnβt use that title online).
At *best*, it downplays his publicly demonstrated extremism.

25.07.2025 17:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Interesting. Not sure if this has come up here or not.
Though, I believe injury costs would normally be covered by the university anyway, if an employee is involved (which includes graduate student assistants and paid undergraduate assistants), so that wouldnβt be an issue here.
We havenβt had any prohibitions - though I thought these generally came in as unrestricted gifts, and thus canβt really require much?
