We've studied the literature. We know timing is crucial for manipulating attention. We know we can't control well stimulus presentation on browsers. Still: we're perplexed. Even if a frame (or two!) are missed, this should work! Published results show Posner cueing works online. What's going on?!

Trying to find a paper about how a preceding affective stimulus can modulate the neural response to a subsequent affective stimulus. Hours of searching, no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
