These consultations have not taken on board any trans positive feedback related to trans children's healthcare in the past decade. There have been many of them. Don't waste your time lovely people. Repeatedly hitting ourselves in the face with consultations is an act of self-abuse at this point.

FYI the last such review into LGBT health changed its ToR after submissions were completed, to fully disregard every submission on trans children's health and wellbeing. Myself and 20+ individuals who had prepared detailed submissions wasted our time. I expect this will do the same.

I view this as a short sighted and misjudged betrayal of Trans people in the UK & the wider position of LGBT+ community leaders of the role of Labour at Pride. You should reconsider and retract this statement. Take some time and reflect upon the hurt you have caused before further public response.

What egotistical world are people living in where they feel a few sentences at a garden party said to a man systematically destroying trans lives is more impactful than the photos and PR allowing the same man to claim he's not the worst thing to happen to trans people in decades.

I am so sorry. My daughter also no longer attends school due to the schools failings. She avoided bullying from the students, but the school's inherently transphobic policies around toilets caused enough distress on their own.

This thread is the reality that me and other parents supporting trans kids are living right now.

The UK is pushing conversion on all trans kids, and directing state violence against anyone who tries to provide the affirmative healthcare and social support that is a basic right for any trans kid.

Incontrovertible evidence, now, of *police* investigating families supporting their kids with gender affirming healthcare in the UK. For trying to do the best for your child, following best practice in most of the world, here you get a visit from the police.
