A lovey afternoon in Melbourne, made even better by taking my youngest for a driving lesson. Here we are on a pit stop on Beach Road at Mordialloc.

I managed a 40 minute run this morning. Another day of doing what my watch asks of me and another day closer to fitness.

My Garmin Coach had today as a rest day and the following two days with runs planned. I decided to go for a walk and ended up covering 14km. Now the coach has tomorrow as a run day and the following day as a rest day.
I like that I have the flexibility to change my plans and it just adjusts for it.

I’ll either complete this training plan to get to the start line or I’ll have a hissy fit and lash my watch against the wall. Watch this space.

I was feeling tired today and was leaning towards not running but my Garmin Coach said I should run 27 minutes, so I did. I think I’m only going to get fitter if I accept that my watch is in charge!

There are 14 weeks and 6 days until I line up for the start of a 50k run. I’m badly out of shape but managed a 4k easy run today. Let’s see if I can get myself ready for this one.

I’ve just started a Foundational Music Theory course on Coursera

Any top tips for learning to play piano with #adhd brain? I nagged and nagged my wife until she bought me one a few Christmases back and I feel that I should give it another go.
I suspect learning more about music theory will help me to persist. Thoughts?

I’ve started, obsessed over, and abandoned BJJ, karate, wing Chun, Krav maga, and boxing. At 58, it may be too late for me.

I still have a 3/4 finished Lego Vespa that I briefly obsessed over. Very absorbing. I’ve not tried technics

I have good memories of my dad keeping them when I was a kid

I can get lost in them but I find it hard to motivate myself to start.

#adhd daughter has had that one covered for a long time. I fear that would be stealing some of her identity 😀

Looking for a hobby that my #adhd brain hasn’t already obsessed over before. Suggestions?
