Meanwhile, my wife posts a Caltex boycott protest. Caltex is owned by chevron and profit from trade with israel and so on. But Chevron are also truly evil and that SHOULD be enough reason anyway. Someone asks why we are boycotting them... I explain. There's no pushback to my explanation...

My report is denied and the post stays up. All the comments on the post are saying its a racist anti-Australian march, so that's good, but the moderation team decides to leave it up, despite the fact that its a literal nazi rally and no one on the platform seems interested.... I appeal, no change.

Some boomer posted an image to promote the upcoming "March for Australia". This rally is a racist white supremacist event organized by a guy who literally proudly proclaims he is a neo nazi, not even joking... So of course I report this...

Another flotilla, the Freedom Flotilla + Thousand Madleens, was just intercepted. 93 people on board, but this one doesn't have the high profile people like Greta, which makes me way more concerned for the safety of those who have just been kidnapped illegally by Israel...

Yeah I've seen a bunch of them trying to claim that people are breaking in or something just for knocking on their door... And others where they have private conversations in the replies to public posts lol... So I guess its not all bad lol, but still disheartening

IMO the only way to use YouTube is to subscribe to specific creators and then use your subscription feed exclusively. I find it a great platform but that's the way in which I use it. The popular/trending/etc. stuff is, yeah, very different. But that goes for basically all platforms in my experience

Ugh... Been using an app called NextDoor that helps connect people in local communities - things like sharing plants, trading resources, etc. But there's so many pro-Israel boomers on there and its so disheartening :(

Like look at this shit... this boat had a handful of UNARMED civilians who had made it clear from the beginning that no resistance would be put up in the case of an interception. For the record - I'm not saying all boats are intercepted. I can't find anything reliable on how many have been. Just that the last live stream I could find of them, on the official Sumud youtube channel, has now gone to "device offline"

Watching the last live stream (afaik anyway) of the flotilla go to "Device Offline" shortly after they said on camera that they are being surrounded by IOF is heartbreaking. 3 military ships to take one tiny boat manned by less than 10 people... This needs to change

Today I checked on my second batch of tepache (made from the same pineapple skins as the first) and its VERY active. So time to bottle it up. I tasted it before bottling and it tastes amazing so looking forward to trying it in a few days! Gonna see if I can get a third batch from this pineapple too!
