I totally agree, technology will always move forward and that power should always be free to all.☮️

If you're an indie programmer & you can't afford an artist or assets, AI is totally chill.
But big companies downsizing etc. for AI potential. & "AI Artists" flooding the freelancing market suck ass😄

There are great platforms now like VGen now which have taken a strong stance on AI Art, they say "Until AI is ethical we won't allow it"..
Which is a fancy way of saying probably never, because these companies train their AI's on stolen data bought from data brokers in China/India😅

As far I know it's 3rd Party Tools being created for Blender, but I have no doubt they will be native at some point. Blender is Open-Source driven. It's just weird dude I like people making things, AI will be great surgeons and think-tanks.

But the human tattoo artist and carpenter are real👨‍🎨

It's not about $ or how quick you can shit out art, these aren't Artists, they have no pride or care in their creation🤣🖕

Seeing the Pro-AI 3D Art argument pop up again, from 3D artists which is insane. The rhetoric being "it allows you to focus on more important things & not stress on modeling"

I charge what I need to pay bills and what seems fair for the labour.

Those are all fair points, and I do agree that it can be hard work that's not disputable. It's just as someone from a third-world country, $500 is two months rent with utilities.
I feel the same about CAD artists, it's not that I doubt the hard work. It's just high pay compared to other creatives.

My sister makes art too, they taught me how to hold a pencil👶

Just a question, why do graphic designers get to charge so much for drawing logos ($500+). I model and rig a full V-tuber character w/ texturing for around $120-150, & that's usually around 30 hours of work.😅🤙

Crazy turn of events, I've switched to RPG Maker MZ As a 3D artist with 8+Years in Unity.

But I was researching blueprint and UE5 and I realized the problem isn't C# or Unity.
I just need a working framework where I can focus on art and story.
