New free open access paper. How the range of education research expertise has narrowed over 20 years in UK. So-called mixed methods appears to be dying. Most people only know how to do so-called qualitative work. What a shame.

And what a waste of public money on initiatives by BA, Nuffield, ESRC and others to extend and improve research methods skills.
