Older game so no Super or Daima stuff but whatever I'm not picky.

I'm just in it for story so I don't care what you get in main game or not. There's not much interesting to do after the story anyway.

For that I can just play Tenkaichi 2. No animation but you can use anything in any mode/part of the story once you unlock it.

I do like them but it's not fair that my posts get over moderated for using them.

Someone told me I'm on a moderation list for actually using the starter packs 🫠

Why have a feature if you're going to be punished for using it?

Unfortunately the remaster kind of looks like shit compared to the original lol but whatever it comes with some bugfixes.

I did this once Super remake was announced. Normally I don't replay games but the remaster got released for PC so it was a good excuse!

Can't prove it but that seems like it has to be true because the episode titles aren't like this.

All that said, it was still fun and I enjoyed it. I'm doing a playthrough leading up to the Super remake and just finished it last night.

The animation, while great, wasn't as great as the main game or other DLC. I was thinking what it needed was more side stories.

If it was going to be long though they should've just adapted everything. Episode of Bardock, Jaco, Super, all the scenes he's in, like an anthology.

Ironically I thought it had too much, story wise. The story is just the TV special but they tacked on a whole extra act at the beginning to humanize the crew.

Not bad in theory, but once it starts adapting the episode it never comes up again, you can tell it's not the same, so it feels like filler.

They finally added in a challenge mode akin tonwhat the old games had but yeah it's a casual game for sure.

It's mostly worth it for the alternate stories. Funny how Gohan and Trunks both have "What is Super was more interesting?" routes 😆

Modern Dragon Ball games always make the great apes look scary but they're also easy to beat, which is canon in a funny way.

Everyone says this but it's not a difficult fight. I finished it before I figured out the controls without dying.

Giant characters are useless in the game, outside of their super attacks they can barely make contact with anything.

I'm also playing this game in prep for the Super reboot and having a blast. The definitive Dragon Ball adaptation imo.
