This is exactly it. On essentially every issue, this Labour government is either too leftwing - a bunch of anti-business measures that nobody cares about, an infrastructure binge at a time when it should want downward pressure on rates, etc. etc. - or too rightwing (as set out below).

Though I like about 1/3 of his columns; he can be genuinely interesting and thought provoking.

And no way he's even close to the worst.

Ha, had just read and been irritated by that piece.

Janan in no way sticking resolutely to his priors.

Bloody hell, there are a lot of men fluttering and spluttering and whatabouting at this.

Weirdly, *bizarrely*, an awful lot of women seem to understand the point Rachel is making.

"History is women following behind with the bucket."

So Morgan McSweeney has been replaced by Jill Cuthbertson and Vidhya Alakeson. Antonia Romeo is about to take over from Chris Wormald. Steph Driver may return to fill Tim Allan's vacancy.

Sense that now there's a mess to mop up, get the women in

Are the charts in the piece relative measures, with 1.0 being the most employee-friendly country *at that point in time*?

The sooner Keir Starmer resigns, the sooner he relaxes and becomes quite insightful and affable in media appearances and we can all go "why wasn't *THAT* guy PM?"

Please appreciate the weapons-grade irony of Farridge calling for an end to working from home to an audience that consists mainly of retirees.

Yes, he apparently actually believes his bullshit or maybe I'm being too kind and he just has his eyes firmly set on a lucrative post-politics life.

Obvs it's the latter, but could be the former too I suppose.

Indeed. A party invite for public officials, to be held in Mayfair no less, by a company that has recently been awarded a Β£240m public contract.
The competition would be livid - had there been any.

FAQs: Council Tax, Stamp Duty - Fairer Share Campaign Fairer Share - the campaign to abolish Council Tax and Stamp Duty. Our Proportional Property Tax will benefit 18 million households up and down the country.

Many other proposals to replace Council Tax and SDLT out there, and this isn't one of the better ones, but they say would reduce tax for 75% of households, so really don't see such a change inducing a large house price falls across most price points.
