A scrap of left-over puff pastry, a single egg white. A lifetimeβs conditioning of waste not, want not.
Line a 6β prospector pan, spread the base with the last scrapings of a jar of jam. Mix the egg white with some ground almonds and sugar (pantry staples here) and spread this paste over the jam.
