It was great to celebrate Banff Pride this past weekend! We must continue to support each other no matter who we love.
Diversity and inclusion make for a better society, and a better #Canada.

I want to wish everyone who celebrates a joyous Mid-Autumn Festival!
This is a special time for many, it's a time for reflection and reunion.

Teachers show up for Alberta's kids every single day.
Today, on World Teacher's Day, we showed up for them. β€οΈ
#WeStandWithTeachers
Albertaβs New Democrats stand with teachers. β€οΈ
Today, we unanimously voted to:
πͺ§ recognize and respect the work of teachers and education professionals
π³οΈ defend and respect collective bargaining & strongly condemn any attempt to undermine it.
β β stand in solidarity with teachers if they strike
Danielle Smith's 'plan' for a pipeline is nothing but a pipe dream.
There's no route, no partner, no funding, and no consultation. Just another $14 million of taxpayer funds wasted on a project that does nothing and goes nowhere.
Alberta's New Democrats got it done once, and we'll do it again.
Provincial Council is underway in Red Deer! π§‘
Albertaβs New Democrats come together to connect, organize, and plan for the better future we all deserve.

It was a pleasure to attend the opening of the Infinity Health clinic in #CalgaryFoothills! This is a huge win for the community.
Infinity Health is the first Indigenous owned healthcare provider in Calgary. It's important we work towards #reconcilliation always.

A committee can't build a pipeline, especially when there's no route, no proponent, and no real funding. Thereβs also no commitment from the federal government to repeal the legislation that would make this pipeline possible.
In Danielle Smith's own words, this is an 'utter failure.'
As of today, Alberta officially has the lowest minimum wage in Canada. It hasn't increased since 2018, and that is unacceptable.
The UCP's refusal to act has left too many Albertans struggling to make ends meet for too long.
We need to raise the minimum wage and index it to inflation. Now.
Alberta has the lowest minimum wage in the country.
Alberta has the highest youth unemployment in the country.
This is a very strong argument AGAINST the idea that raising the minimum wage increases youth unemployment.
Why did Smith say the opposite - she is lying or incompetent. #AbLeg
Despite having months to put forward a respectable offer, Danielle Smith chose chaos, cuts, and cruelty yet again.Β
In response, Alberta's teachers overwhelmingly voted to reject their deal.
Alberta's New Democrats value public education.

Last night, Bruce McAllister, the voice of this government, suggested a young student be beaten after daring to ask about education funding and the teachers strike. /1
30.09.2025 17:15 β π 137 π 57 π¬ 11 π 6Reminder:
Bruce McAllister doesnβt respect Albertans.
The Premier knows this and is paying him $825,000 to berate citizens in these so-called βtown halls.β
We deserve better.
Worksheets aren't classrooms.
Danielle Smith will spend millions of public dollars on everything but offering teachers a fair deal.

Things Danielle Smith will spend millions of public dollars on:

Advertising war against teachers

Distributing worksheets
Things Danielle Smith won't spend any public dollars on:
β Improving public education
The news that Imperial Oil is closing its Calgary office and cutting jobs is a significant blow to Calgary's and Alberta's economies.
We need a Premier who keeps Albertaβs investment market competitive, instead of chasing separatism.

Alberta's students are worth so much more than the lowest per-student funding in the country.
Investing in education is the BEST thing we could do to build a better future for our province. We'll never stop fighting for that.

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we recognize the generations of Indigenous communities who never received justice.
Let's remember the children who were taken from their families, and the survivors who carry those memories.
Grande Prairie, thank you for making our last Better Together town hall such a memorable one!
Hearing your stories, your fears, and your hopes and dreams for this beautiful province we call home was inspiring!
We'll be back again soon!
Celebrating different cultures & diversity is part of what makes me proud to be #Canadian.
The Sherwood Multicultural Festival was a great example of how unique our community is! I met people from different backgrounds & learned about their cultures.
We are all on #TeamCanada.
On September 30, #NationalDayforTruthandReconciliation Studio Bell will be open from 10am-5pm with free admission.
The National Music Centre will present a panel discussion at 1:00pm exploring the power of music for reconciliation!
It will be a day to listen, reflect, & learn.

It was great to celebrate the Al Makkah Summer BBQ with the Symons Valley United Church! The community really came together for this.
I had the pleasure of meeting many people & heard their concerns on AISH cutbacks. We must continue to fight for the most vulnerable!

Thanks to everyone who attended my βAsk Me Anythingβ townhall last night!
There were great questions around #affordability, #AISH, & other issues Albertans are facing! All the voices I heard last night matter, I am grateful to hear from them all.
