The "evils" of capitalism, colonialism, imperialism, and slavery are all built on market dynamics and the unfettered private accumulation of wealth. This is what I trace back to. I call out Capitalism because that is the primary global problem we have at present. It's relevant.

Both are true at once. Using race to divide and conquer the public politically does not preclude the ruling class from being inherently racist.

In other words, it is a top-down movement that plays on prejudice and bias to benefit Capital, not a grass-roots movement that opposes Capital in any meaningful way.

The Right ironically criticizes the outcomes of capitalism while championing the causes. Fascism involves Capital USING the right wing who eat out of the palm of Capital's hand to militantly protect Capital while manipulatimg them into thinking it is THEIR interests that are being served.

The US is limited to "green investments" that benefit Capital, some of which aren't even green. Carbon capture, for instance, benefits Big Oil's business as usual. And who do you think owns the tech/media interests you mention? Capital. Lastly, Capital owns US policy. States don't exist in a vacuum.

For the same reason they use passive language with headlines about Israeli attacks on Palestine. It's intentional, and meant to replace guilt, accountability, and shame with "innocence by dissociation."
