Attacks on people with albinism in Tanzania: African court holds government responsible – why it matters
Upholding the rights of people with albinism would ensure that they are treated fairly and with respect.
In February 2025, the African Court of Human and People’s’ Rights delivered a landmark judgment, holding Tanzania accountable for human rights violations against persons with albinism. My piece in The Conversation discusses the significance of this ruling.
