This has been my nightmare (as in waking up in a panic) since the election. We already know that this administration and much of the American populace has no problem separating parents and children if it is “justified.”

Also, to be clear from the last thread, I am extremely against genocide and violence conducted by governments or terrorist groups. I am here to teach and encourage justice, not to police my students.

I personally learn so much from my international students. They are an extremely valuable part of our academic community.

This includes any Jewish students and any supporters of the current US pretend rulers. We discuss scientific data and facts as well as opinions around them. I try to make sure everyone does so with respect. I am sure I am not perfect at this, but my intent is always to improve.

To anyone expecting me to do this: “What international students? I’m just on campus to teach science.” I will not patrol for your bullshit. Doing my best to make my classroom safe for all students no matter where they are from or what they believe.
