Agreed, Stevenson's 2024-2025 numbers are pretty meh, but he got name checked by Friedman as a possible waiver claim recently (and was also mentioned by Jesse Granger on the Athletic Hockey Show podcast this week as someone on the rise).

Lucky break for the Caps that Toronto claimed Primeau over Stevenson, given all the buzz that Stevenson was getting from national media. They're the same age and have the same annual cap hit, but Primeau has more NHL experience, nominally better 2024-2025 stats, and his contract is up this year.

Why keep Miro up even if Roy is on IR tho? They weren't gonna play him. Send him to Hershey and give him a ton of minutes rather than keeping him in the press box.
