Just drawn a recent addition to my habby collection - the front of a box that contains a rug wool cutting tool. Reckon it is late 1969s, picked up in Axeminster for a bargain Β£1.

On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,

"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"

Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

Looking down on two hands, with a dark wood table in the background. The hands are holding a 3D patchwork dodecahedron star, with each side a different colour (from the angle of the photo you can see green, pink, purple, blue, grey and yellow). It is small, and held in fingertips.

First 2025 patchwork finish
πŸŽ‰ Inspired by Victorian pincushions, I initially referred to an Averil Colby book and changed a few bits as I made it. I think mathematically is a dodecahedron star. Really cute, not sure if scale right as only seen in books/online - makes my hands look huge in pics.

Little pic of a project I have been working on. I’ve called this appliquΓ© workshop Winter Greens as is inspired by the lovely greenery around at the time of the winter solstice. It’s happening as part of the Brighton Winter Fayre which is taking place in front of St Peter’s Church.
