Love this movie. This often puzzles my friends. I cannot really explain it. I really am not into violence and generally bored by mob or crime or action involving 3 letter agencies. Yet I love this movie. And awesome soundtrack!

We have an obligation here. Institutionalized racism in the media industry doesn’t excuse us. The black journalists and entertainers are not as well known because we are cooperative in systems that promote white men over other voices.

Think though about WHY you don’t know? Systemic racism doesn’t excuse us. We clearly have power with our spending and could have been effective with WAPO or MSNBC etc. but it’s a vicious circle- white dominated media doesn’t promote or highlight black journalists or stay with their stories.

Uhm I think you’re on the wrong platform. This ugliness belongs on X not Bluesky. also you need to do some real research. For example a man who says executions should be public and that he would enjoy watching them is definitely promoting violence. No one should enjoy watching another human die.
