I'm now officially obsessed by this whole issue. Eg have been contemplating the pros and cons of self drive versus trailer converted horse boxes. #TheArchers

#TheArchers From my bro: Not sure about a licence, we just need food hygiene rating so maybe hairdressing equivalent? Wd need permission from council if operating on public land or from landowner if private. Water cd be heated using a generator or by connecting to a mains supply as with a caravan.

Pretty much. There’s a big street food scene as well as festivals. They get a lot of wedding bookings.

Anyway - isn’t Ian doing something similar?

I will check in with my brother who actually runs his business from a converted horsebox (food related), and it's very successful. #TheArchers

Naturally I also checked online. 'Eric Allan, the actor who played Bert Fry for the last 25 years of Bert’s life has sadly passed away quietly in his sleep. He loved the Archers fans (addicts) and had nothing but positivity from all that he met.
He thanks you all.' From Mike Allan. V odd if untrue.

Very much enjoying reading 'Understanding Others in a Neurodiverse World' by Dr Gemma Williams. Scholarly but written in an accessible and conversational style. Some good important arguments, underpinned by research, on autism and communication. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

So the Epstein scandal is about politics? Silly me for thinking it’s about the mass abuse of women and girls | Marina Hyde Obsessing over individual players and political chaos leaves less time to focus on the misogyny. And that’s for the best, isn’t it guys, says Guardian columnist Marina Hyde

Another column from Marina Hyde in which she urges everyone to focus on the real Epstein scandal - the mass abuse of women by powerful men. Spot on.

I think cool heads are almost impossible in this situation. George is obviously suffering, but Ed has to tell Emma and they should take steps to protect themselves, including the kids. It’s genuinely the best thing for George too. #TheArchers

Wow - what an episode. Can’t help thinking that Ed is being too nice in the face of George’s violence. What if he does something worse? Yes, get him help, but establish some boundaries #TheArchers
