A plastic bag filled with Glowhair lace from Westknits. It contains a lot of neutral colors from a pale peach to tan to dark brown with 8 colors total.

Some of my previous shawls have mohair in them, but I haven't made anything fully of lace yet. So this week's #showmeyourknits is going to be the yarn I'm using for the Glowalong I haven't started yet.

US here. In addition to what others have said regarding storage, some local LYS will offer to wind your skein for you for a nominal fee (like max of 5 bucks a skein). I generally leave them in a skein though bc it's neater for me in my cubbies.

This all started because myself and a couple other commented on a knitting club post on Facebook about how the library only offered stuff during the day.

And someone else answered the call and volunteered to set one at night. I'm so grateful that I accidentally found myself in this new community.

The most amazing thing happened last night. Our knitting class at the local library turned into a knitting group for the first time. And we had almost TEN NEW PEOPLE show up! That's double the size! It was truly a beautiful thing to see. 🧶

Yeah having both as a learner craft has led to so many projects for me. You're smart to keep just one art for now!
