A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.

All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.

So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

We had a tortie who was the sweetest smoosh, even at the vet. I've also met lots of sweet, gentle torties while volunteering at our local shelter every week. I think if people are looking for "tortitude" they will find it because that's just how confirmation bias works.

You know, when I saw Dylan Roof's name trending, my very first thought was OMG, he received a pardon.

IOW, no matter what Dems do, it's always wrong. My money is on he's one of those "uncompromising voters" who couldn't bring himself to vote for Harris because, you know, reasons. IMO, the Smurfs are nearly as bad as MAGA in terms of their entitlement, ignorance, & refusal to accept responsibility.

He's what I refer to as a Blue Troll or Smurf. Every time a Democrat pushes back on Trump's cabinet, the blue trolls will crawl out from under their bridges and complain. Mind you, they will also complain when a Democrat is silent OR doesn't respond quick enough OR doesn't respond correctly.

Ah, but that only applied if the perpetrators were Democratic.
