For all that I am being super critical of it - the end game run really soured me on this game - it wasn't so bad it's put me off at least trying the #sequel.

Fingers crossed @owlcatgames.bsky.social it works out better for me than #Kingmaker did.

Also I missed out on completing the Rank 10 in every category mission/quest cause the game quite simply never gave me then options to rank up often enough before the #endgame kicks in and the game decided I've failed it.

I really hope #WotR is better than #Kingmaker.

And not in a good way. They have an ability that paralyzes everyone and then they trounce you. Every time. And game doesn't explain or show you how to get around it.

The amount of times through this game I had to google "what do I do in X situation in #Kingmaker?" is unreal.

Bugs: The Twins disappeared in the endgame and I never found them again and whilst the end slides acknowledged the Sweet Teeth there was fuck all about the twins.

Design: The games inability to explain shit really hamstrings the player at the end here.

All the issues this game has come to the fore in the end game and get REALLY fucking annoying.

To the point where I can no longer recommend this game to ppl. Only 6.5% of folk have completed it and I can see why.

Finally completed @owlcatgames.bsky.social #Kingmaker. Many years after it released. Pathfinders not the friendliest system tbh.

And honestly. Right up until the end game this game fell on the recommended (just in spite of the issues it has) for RPG players.

But the end game? Fuck it sucks.

And 3) the game does really bad job of explaining itself the way modern #games do. Cause they r over reliant on the map to show where things r instead of giving you information.

1) with a lot of the side quests especially in forced into picking either the evil choice or lawful choice or fail the quest. Meaning if I wanna be a completionist I really have to be a lawful evil character. Thats wild.

2) the plotting is horribly paced. There’s whole sections of the #game

Gotta say a lot of good to say about it. A lot of bad to say about it.

So far there’s only 3 things that get up nose where this game is concerned.
