Honk at the Tara Theatre! Thank you Reel Friends for screening Honk at @taraatlanta.bsky.social. I first saw Honk at the Buried Alive Film Festival in November last year. It was great seeing the film again and it was exciting to speak with @lauzirika.bsky.social at the mixer after the screenings!

Reel Talk at the Tara Theatre! Thank you Reel Friends for hosting this special event at the @taraatlanta.bsky.social! It was exciting to see great short films like Honk and other shorts. There was a cool mixer after the event and I got to chat with Quinn Orear and @lauzirika.bsky.social!

The Tara Theatre in Atlanta! My next movie theater stop is @taraatlanta.bsky.social. This was a unique Regal theater that was bought by Chris Escobar. It has become part of Atlanta’s independent cinema dynamic duo, along with @plazaatlanta.bsky.social. The Tara also hosts the Atlanta Film Festival!

The visuals were great @scottderrickson.bsky.social! Dan Lausten did a great job with the film’s cinematography. Also, the bottom of The Gorge and the design of the Hollow Men feels reminiscent of Alex Garland’s adaptation of Annihilation.

From SCAD Savannah Film Festival to The Oscars: It was impressive to me that SCAD had the foresight to have already honored Mikey Madison, Kieran Culkin, Zoe Saldana, and Paul Tazewell at the 2024 Savannah Film Festival. The curators of the festival continue to impress! #TheOscars2025

Congratulations to Hiroyuki Sanada for his win at the SAG Awards! Shogun is an excellent show. It was truly amazing to see him in person three weeks ago at the incredible SCAD TVFest, where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his notable merits to cinema. #shogun #sagawards #sagaftra

Another Atlanta filmed series debuts tonight on NBC. Grosse Pointe Garden Society was filmed in Atlanta last year at Virginia Highland and Georgia Tech. They also previewed the show at the SCAD TVFest two weeks ago. Look forward to seeing more of this show. #grossepointegardensociety #scadtvfest

Highly recommend the new documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin! It's a unique documentary that delved into the history of the band and the impact they had in the music world. The film is currently playing in Atlanta at Midtown Art Cinema and @taraatlanta.bsky.social! #ledzeppelin #sonypicturesclassics

I know @crobertcargill.bsky.social! I saw The Monkey early and it’s truly a great dark-comedy. Osgood Perkins has been killing it! Looking forward to his new film, Keeper, later this year.
