Goodbye MegaMek? A disappointing update on one of the BattleTech community's beloved fan projects

MegaMek devs were found to be using AI in coding and for art. That's so disappointing :(

2026 might be the year I get LESS minis left to paint than more, as I get more motivated to make forces to be automated with the Aces system. I am genuinely so excited to see what additions to the system will come.

I haven't been this excited by the hobby in a very, very long time.

Now that the Aces system is a thing and I've gotten to use it... I can't even describe how much it has helped hobby drive for me. I'm planning a Kurita Company, thinking of finding more units to make a company for based on campaign books, ect.

I'm even looking at expanding my terrain collection.

I can finally show my Essen loot - Kurita packs, TRO 3025 2 boxes of Gothic and Aces box. Felt bad posting this earlier because Aces was not available to everyone. Now that it will be shipped soon, I will say, you guys are about to have so much fun playing it. It is great!
