Hmm it's hard because I struggle to find my own process there but one thing I have found is to keep it simple, don't bother about stats and stuff, just have a clear purpose for the character in the situation. Why are they there, from their own perspective? What do they want?

Yeah makes a lot of sense. I just find that when I have those windows, half the time I don't have the brain which leads to what I can only call frustration 😆
