A few countries are helping Cuba, but so many other countries have just capitulated to Trump - think 'regime change' and not look at the humanitarian suffering that's being imposed on Cubans from *outside* of Cuba. The immorality of this.

A mother of 3 gone, a wife, a daughter, sister, friend, gone for this. This is fault line of ICE lack of respect for human life.

What a nightmare, fascism is a process, stop it before it becomes unstoppable.

We point this out about Rubio, because we believe him to a dissembler. We want those who observe what's going on with Cuba to watch Rubio says versus what Rubio does or the reality of things, the gaps....

Protest, observation, celebration, whatever it is was - taking a human life over it, not acceptable.

For non UK followers this is about the UK's Democratic Right to protest - which people of conscience have to continually fight to maintain.

Small kindnesses make a difference. It's important to remember that so many of us will be moving through carrying the heaviest of pain and trying to to act 'normal'. May she rest in peace, losing a parent can be existentialist loss.
