Oh no 😟 I had a cat who snuck out and was gone for 2 weeks and the only way I knew she was alive was that it was late November and we got a dusting of snow..kitty footprints and a live trap....it was a weird thing! I hope yours comes back safely with minimal effort...

Oh dear, I really hope she's been off doing catly stuff and that ny the time you read this, she has decided that she misses the comforts of home 🏡 😟

One cat's "thing" is to grab my mouse hand with both paws and lick. Always. And he doesn't take hints. Another wants to lay with his paw on my hand on the mouse. Always. I know it's love. But working is hard.

How to work from home without getting aggravated by cat help? I love my cats so much. But it's a small house and we have to share the work space.

The thing is, though, that I am nervous about the future and at this point in time, and despite the VERY low pay, the gas station may have better job security than my full time job.

Usually I work full time at one job, Monday thru Friday, and then I work every weekend (both Saturday and Sunday) at the gas station. I took this weekend off "to feel like a normal person". And now I never want to go back to work.

I have been wondering how history will view/judge this era. Then I get myself all confused, because..I start trying to picture who might be writing the history annals and my head wants to explode. #history #politics

I realized today that I really prefer reading real books vs. my kindle.
But. I will continue to read nearly all of my books on said Kindle in order to avoid multitudes of tbr piles everywhere. #booksky

How to politely explain that I didn't respond to my friend's text, and then the next three times when she actually called on the phone, I couldn't make myself answer, but it's not personal.

under NO circumstances should you tell yourself "such a small bowl, & the freezer is in the basement..I'll just eat this real quick"..oh, forgot to feed the fish..oh, I wonder if thats a bill? ..oh, need to change the channel..

Important tip:
You MUST put the bucket of ice cream back in the freezer as soon as you are done dishing up--

I imagine the yeast part was probably a natural progression, but then, instead of a flatbread thing, someone thought of making a loaf?!

So today I was snacking & started thinking about how I eat too much bread...etc, and it occurred to me, what an amazing thing bread is! I mean..who decided to grind up seeds and mix them with other things and came up with bread?

Otis went to the vet today. He has a broken wing. The vet said they could try surgery but it would be very risky due to his age.

Thursday morning though, they apparently attacked Otis, the senior 17 year old goose. That was the very last straw, the "babies" went to live with some Amish people.

The "baby" geese have gotten really aggressive. They'd been attacking my dog, my car, myself, and anyone else that happened by.
