I was working in Electronics Boutique during the launch. So many people returned it because they couldn't escape the tutorial, mostly breaking last minute before the wall & the slalom. They were convinced this was the whole game & didn't care about trying anymore. Plenty of returns & exchanges heh.

This game shouldn't have existed in 1985! When we say things like "It's way ahead of its time." Well Space Harrier is space magic from the future! One of those early games I played in the arcade back then that made me a Sega fan. Perfection.

Man, what a game. I don't personally rate it over Hollow Knight, but that takes nothing away from this masterpiece. Hornet is an utter joy to control, the world is rich in character and the amount of content is staggering. Just so so good & there's still things to find! Peak!

Indeed, considering my love for Hollow Knight, this game is making me smile (and cry with anguish after countless deaths heh!)

I've got it sitting there on my shelf. Currently playing Silk Song, but maybe I'll start it after.

Based on what they done to the first game and their other Sega "remakes", I have zero hope. Saturn version is perfect, I'll just stick with that as I have since it released on the glorious Saturn.

Just replayed Jet Force Gemini; has certainly been a while. Played on my original N64 of course.
Peak N64 people! Rare were at their creative heights in this era & for me, Jet Force stands at the top.
Was a pleasure replaying it & reminding myself once again how much I love it.

Got some amazing birthday cards and presents! Kids made some some great cards as always and my youngest even made me her own DK Rap! Or Daddy Rap as she called it heh.
For me, these are always the best gifts.

Heh I was alright with the final boss (awesome fight btw); it was the first ED-209 fight that took me about three or four tries haha! That dude was ruthless!

I loved it! Great homages to the first two movies and one of the best movie to games released in years since probably Alien Isolation.
I'll get the DLC at some point.

Pure Nintendo fun at its most creative.
Every layer provided something new, and all the challenge areas were great, including some truly tricky ones!
So many homages to DK history, I tip my hat to the Big N for creating yet another classic worthy of the DK name.

Just clocked 'Dear me, I was...'. Not gonna lie, had a lump in my throat a few times through this short story.
The older I get, the more these life stories hit me heh.
Only about 50 mins long, but a lovely telling of a human life story full of natural highs and lows.

This game is just too much fun. Loving the bonus stages, the exploration, all the DKC and other Kong game references. There's more Rare DK in here than I thought there'd be.
Nintendo are coming to life even more and I'm all here for it.

Hahahahahaha! I tried. The app is pretty basic and crude. You can't change the size of the cursor so you have to zoom in and out to make it smaller or larger to my knowledge. The colour palette is super bare bones as well, but hey, all fun and games heh.

Too much fun already. So many collectibles hidden around.
DKs movement around the world feels pretty liberating, allowing you to traverse the levels in a multitude of ways. His character design is perfect!

Yup, watched it yesterday and very much enjoyed it! Some action sequences that I personally haven't seen in a movie before and she confidently carries the film, even with other cameos. Awesome stuff.

Been loving #MarioKartWorld.
Game looks stunning and is truly a Mario world dream to be able to drive around all these locations with incredible detail.
If this is the start of what Nintendo are going to do in the #Switch2 era, then we're in for a treat.

Alright, next gen Big N has arrived at the Clocked It household.
I'd still like some other accessories, but I'll grab them over time. As of now, I can't wait to play Mario Kart and also finally get to play in Night City!

Very nice delivery today! Been looking forward to this and I'm not disappointed! Great collection of JRPG classics in here, even some of my Saturn favs like Panzer Dragoon Saga and SNES classics like Terranigma.
