Water insecurity was associated with economic stress and contributed to feelings of judgment and reduced well-being. Notably, one-third of students reported relying on bottled water as their primary source.

At a large U.S. university, @abrewis.bsky.social @awutich.bsky.social & I found above-average food insecurity and a 43% prevalence of low to moderate water insecurity.

Given the fundamental shift in the global health landscape, I'm going to really have to reimagine this class.
Does anyone have any current readings or topics that would be worth including?
People have gathered outside USAID HQ for press event with Democratic Congressmen Beyer, Raskin, Connolly and Olzewski and Senator Van Hollen where they're addressing the building's mysterious shutdown today in the midst of the Trump admin dismantling the agency.

Dear Representative Feret, I am a constituent from [REDACTED] At this moment, our federal constitution is in crisis. Elon Musk-an unelected, unappointed, unconfirmed individual, in charge of a "department" that has no Congressional authority-has sent teenagers into OPM to download American's private, personal data in violation of the law and the Constitution. He has claimed the right to veto government spending approved by Congress-a power deemed illegal by the Supreme Court when exercised by the President, let alone a non-governmental official. I cannot emphasize enough that if this is allowed to continue, we lose our constitutional democracy. Elon Musk does not have the power of the purse. Elon Musk has not had constitutional authority delegated to him in any official capacity. Elon Musk is exercising authority that does not belong to him. Authoritarian overreach must be stopped immediately, before it gains a foothold. I know as a state representative, there are many things you cannot do. But it is not nothing. I am asking you to take action to preserve our democracy and our Constitution by sponsoring and passing State laws that hold that companies with executives in the C-suite engaging in open violation of the laws and Constitution of the United States lack authority to operate in Colorado and any property in the state is subject to civil forfeiture upon suit by the Colorado Attorney General. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely,
I have sent a letter to my state representatives asking them to pass a law disallowing companies from operating in the state where C-Suite executives are waging war on the Constitution, punishable by civil forfeiture of company property.

*Court injunction protecting USAID
*Dems demand hearings on Musk's role
*Someone introduce articles of impeachment
*Dem officeholders go to USAID offices with USAID workers
*Refuse to conduct any more Senate confirmations until this is resolved
