This. A lot of things get hyped, and of course also the way an app should be build. The way a startup should be build.
Every case is different.

I'm a fan of simplifying life.

Just because something is hyped (AI! Blockchain! Smart devices!) doesn't mean you should use it everywhere.

I can open my fridge even if the cloud is down.
My lead data is real & valid, not hallucinated.

Scalable, simple infrastructure.

They're also unable to think out of the box.
Had this recently with a question in a certain topic. It was completely off there. When I asked it look for the foundational structure in my question, then suddenly it realized it's true. They can't make connections like the human brain.

It's the statistical average of every written word out there. Amplifying what gets promoted as well.

You can set up an incredibly high amount of experiments once you identify all the parameters. Not everything is causational or even correlated. Sometimes just one experiment can tell you everything you need to know.

Very true. It takes sensitive observational skills to see the difference.

hehe, so precious! I had a robin once fly into my room through the open window, sit on my desk 10 cm from my hand, looked at me for a moment and then flew out again. Such a wonderful experience.

Saying no more often is actually self-care, although it can feel bad based on what the nervous system has learned.

What has helped me in those moments: take the importance out of the event and do some deep breathing, that calms your nervous system. It's just one thing to do on your list. Maybe do laundry and then do the release.

lol, I prefer doing instead of waiting. Praying for someone to come seems to be a symptom of learned helplessness.

I've spent the entire evening on my knees yesterday.

Installing new kitchen flooring including insulation.
My feet were so cold on the old floor! Now I can walk barefoot there.

Lesson:
fix things before they get urgent.
Much more relaxed.
