I wrote for @proteanmag.com about the work of Syrian filmmaker Mohammad Malas, who chronicled with Tarkovsky-esque stylings what Israel had wrought against his hometown of Quneitra in Syria's south, a town that the IDF has now once again invaded and occupied.
