🚧 ROAD CLOSURE 🚧

Tesco roundabout and its access roads is currently closed following an incident overnight. Police have advised that this closure is likely to be for the rest of today, Monday 10th November, and potentially into tomorrow.

Please use alternative routes.

🕊️ This Sunday there will be a Service of Remembrance at St George the Martyr, Wolverton from 10am. This will be followed by a parade and the Act of Remembrance in The Square, Wolverton at 10:55am.

Roads immediately around The Square in Wolverton will be closed during the event.

🕊️ Remembrance Sunday

This Sunday, the town will come together to honour those who gave their lives in service. 🇬🇧

We’re counting down until the sky above Wolverton lights up once again for our spectacular Fireworks Night!

📣UPDATE📣

The company undertaking the work on the towpath in Wolverton from bridge 71a leading to the Secret Garden have indicated that the brickwork on the canal side will be completed during and by the end of next week. We will update once we have received confirmation of its completion.

The Wolverton Secret Garden is still closed due to the works being undertaken on the offside towpath in Wolverton.

We have contacted the organisation who is undertaking the works for an update of when they expect this area to be open again. We will update residents soon.

The LOUNGE is run in collaboration with the Black Sheep Collective CIC and is a safe space for young people, aged 8 – 13 years.

Sessions meet each Tuesday at MK Christian Foundation on The Square in Wolverton, from 16:00-18:00.

Milton Keynes City Council are hosting a MK Archaeology Day event at Church of Christ the Cornerstone on Saturday 1st November from 10am.
There are planned activities and displays in the morning aimed for ages 8+ followed by talks in the afternoon.

🚧 Roadworks in Wolverton 🚧

Following the asphalt works completed by Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC). MKCC will be closing Stacey Avenue, Southern Way and Victoria Street between 27th October- 29th October to undertake lining works within the carriageways.

V5 Great Monks Street remains closed in both directions between Abbey Hill Roundabout and Hodge Lea Roundabout near Stacey Bushes following an incident overnight. This closure may continue until tomorrow 17th October.

Please use alternative routes and allow extra time for travel.

The public computers (with printing) are now back up and running at Wolverton Library and book borrowing/renewals/returns can be completed. Unfortunately the public printing service from phones still unavailable and they can not advise when this service will be back available.

We have been advised that due to ongoing IT upgrades to their system, Wolverton Library are currently unable to provide their full range of services. They are unable to provide printing service, public access online on the computers or book renewals.
