NO. WE DONT WANT TO GO TO WAR

Now, we wait and hold our breath to see if we’re going to war. We don’t want a war. We’re always at war, we’re always sending off loved ones. It is exhausting. It will shatter any sense of hope we have that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

I don’t go anywhere alone, anymore. We went on a date recently, and everywhere we went there were cops. ICE was around but not raiding. I’m a citizen. Police have always scared me, but living with the ever present fear masked people can just grab me? It makes going anywhere seem not worth it.

And what is our government doing? Trying to gut healthcare. We live in increasing amount of fear, I am always scared, if I’m honest. I post about disagreeing with decisions made by our government and I’ve seen other “creators” say they have agents at their house for a post they made.

Urgent care? The last 3 times I’ve needed urgent care it was a 5 hour wait. The staff is always doing their very best, they usually only have one provider. A few years ago (on the east coast) when I needed an ER visit? It was a 12 hour wait. Our healthcare system never bounced back from COVID.

Everything is expensive and everything is falling apart. This is only based on my region, but here it is. You can’t see your doctor on any sort of short notice, you are lucky to get an appointment in the same month you ask for one.
