City Hall has a collection of themed stained glass windows, they are glorious. The building has a lot of white marble and when the sun shines in, it’s all lit up by the colours in the glass and it’s magical.

That’s when my faith in teachers/grown ups ended. 🤣 I do remember thinking “why is this idiot teaching me and what else has been utter nonsense?” 🤣
That got me into so much trouble at school, P7. My teacher had watched the ‘documentary’ took it at face value. He did not appreciate an 11 year old girl arguing that pasta, including spaghetti, is made from flour, eggs & water.
I can still see him in a purple rage.
No, he’s just after some Oates

Truth. He’s 10 and still thinks he’s a pup. He’d die of embarrassment if he knew what was on his jumper though. 🤣

Mr Davidson had evidently watched the documentary below, and took it for fact. 🤦🏼♀️

I’ve never gauged the time before, only distance covered. That might be a better way of organising it.
Needlepoint chessboard under construction. Very complicated pattern involving knotwork, spirals, lock and key and more. It’s a half finished monster.
Once more into the breach. Will 2025 be the year I finally finish this monster or will I give up (again) for it to gather dust another year?
It occurred to me I could die before finishing it which has spurred me on somewhat.

We're only a few days away from #ValentinesDay so how about a Blind Date With A Book from Orkney Library?
They're only £3 each and they've all got a special Valentine's poem with a clue to the book inside. And you don't even have to return them! ❤️❤️❤️
