Today we had the coldest high temperature in C'ville since February 20, 2015 (almost ten years ago).

I get the radio subscription every year, and have for 15 years. Baseball on the radio is the soundtrack to my summers. This year I might not renew. There is just no energy around this team. I listened to 100+ games/year when they were losing 90/100 a year. If ownership no longer cares, why should I?

Would be so awesome. Baseball guy who wants to win. Plus, and I know I have a bias, but the Suns have been on the front of putting games on free broadcast TV. The ratings are huge. Other teams/leagues are doing it more and it's working. Would be awesome for the Twins.

Out of CHO? Rt. 29 isn't too bad to get there but all departures until 11:15 am are cancelled so far.

Still mostly sleet up here at Rio Rd. by the Putt Putt. Plows are going through and doing a good job, but I still say stay home. Roads aren't in condition to get anywhere in a hurry.

Just drove from my house to the station (National Guard Armory/Mill Creek area to E. Rio). Snow and sleet, mainly sleet. Roads in ok shape but I wouldn't drive unless you absolutely have to.

And the snow is now falling just south of Charlottesville.

I sure wish I got as excited to take down my Christmas lights as I do to put them up.

Can I just say that we need CSpan cameras like this all the time? It helps tell the story so much better when they aren't controlled by the Speaker.

If getting my kids to the bus stop is any indication, hug a teacher today.

I think it's time to remind myself that trying to stay up to the minute on the looming shutdown is a fool's errand.
