Not everything can be resolved and that's okay, sometimes accepting that is part of a character's inner resolution. There are setbacks and missteps in healing too, but my characters typically find the path again. Found family is the best! Even better when found family gets to beat up bio family xD

I'm the same way. My favorite moment for a character is when they take their first metaphorical full breath after a lifetime of struggling to breathe. I think that makes us pretty hopeful/optimistic writers c:

Agreed! Granted, it's my first time running an AP (GMed other systems previously, first time PF2 GM) but it's been the smoothest experience I've ever had running a campaign. Great bones with plenty of wiggle room for adding in player stories, side adventures, and extending the AP beyond its end
