Hulu Developing Drama Series β€˜The Haunting Of Alejandra’ From Steven Paul Martinez 'The Haunting of Alejandra,' a series adaptation of the V. Castro book, is in development at Hulu with Steven Paul Martinez as writer-EP.

It’s finally announced. So grateful for @evalongoria.bsky.social and everyone who believed in me and my stories.

I am honored and honestly a bit stunned that CYANIDE CONSTELLATIONS is officially a Bram Stoker Award finalist! What do you mean my little book is nominated alongside the powerhouses of Hailey Piper, Gemma Files, John Langan, and Clay McLeod Chapman?? Wild. Huge congrats to all of the nominees!

It’s so hard to have a reasonable conversation about AI, because people refuse to see the massive upsides of job elimination, higher electrical bills, hard drive shortages, poisoning black people in Memphis, and an economy where a handful of pedos with bad hair control your life

I just had frozen shoulder! Well, i’m still healing from it, but after the cortisone shot and a month of pretty intense physical therapy (which I did at home) it’s almost entirely healed. Sucks you have to go through it, but it’s not too bad with the right treatment!

While independent bookstores are giving out free whistles, hosting protest sign making events, and donating proceeds to mutual aid, Amazon is *checks notes* providing technology that assists ICE in their terrorizing of communities.

Independent bookstores deserve your support. Amazon does not.

I don’t talk about what’s happening in the world here because I try to focus on bookish things, but I’m angry, scared, and basically want to puke and cry all the time.

I want to be clear - If you support this administration and/or ICE, unfollow me. Don’t read my books.

Abolish and prosecute ICE

There's nothing "moderate" about voting to give billions more to Trump's lawless and murderous secret police force. This is a morally repugnant and politically reckless vote by members who embarrass and weaken the Democratic Party.

It spent the last few months clawing across paperback and ebook, even getting nominated for a Splatterpunk Award, but I've been asked where's the audiobook, and now I can finally share:
