Seeing people say things like “fire Hakeem Jeffries” is not accurate; this is who the Democrats are and have always been. He’s one of the purest expressions of the party, from this to assuring rich Silicon Valley donors that Dems will move more toward the center. We need a new party.

This weekend, I joined the Starbucks picket line in Park Slope with comrades from BnR. It was exciting how many DSA and UFT members turned out and how much support we saw from drivers on 4th avenue.

The Left Isn’t Building a Faction Within the Democrats Recent actions by the most prominent left-wingers in Congress show that they do not want to build an organized faction inside the Democratic Party.

I’ve spent the last three years on @dsaelectoral.bsky.social SC. In that time we have transformed the body into a more active, democratic engine of DSA’s electoral proto-party operation. I know these four will continue those efforts and I give them my highest endorsement!

The numbers used were accurate at the time of writing several weeks ago. I’ve cited and linked my sources. We may update the numbers based on the updated votes coming out of these states, but we’re not the New York Times, and the differences are minimal IMO.
