“Someone” cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second.

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

The got the first letter right. It's spelled Epstein.

Absolutely. And my now-adult kids still come to me with questions that may venture into TMI... but they know I give them facts. No drama. No judgement. Just facts. And if I do not have the answers, I point them to where to get them. It's an honor to have earned that trust.

Well, the learning styles stuff got debunked awhile ago, but we absolutely have preferences. Steve's love affair with maps is one thousand percent legit for so many reasons.

I'm rereading again. Steve's love affair with maps and how much they tell him. It resonates. Something I never would have thought of, but very grounded in his background with his artistic appreciation as gravy.

And how can I forget the bit where Sam offered to carry Nat's purse. So like Sam to find a way to tell a person he SEES them and values them.

I still read Nat shutting down Donnie's march to the White House to make me feel better. Seeing Bucky and Nat dance with the first Black ballet dancer Misty Copeland made my soul happy as it was just so genuinely nice and authentic, not forced. I love watching Darcie get underestimated...
