Feels like expectation of genre is at odds with "game they actually wanted to make /were good at making" a lot of the time

It's been a while since I've played it, and maybe it was a difficulty thing, but I don't remember really bumping up against resource limits much.
Either way, my usual rant is that "certain games would be better/focused if they just didn't have the survival mechanics getting in the way".

Feels like we need to start calling things "Horror" or "[genre] horror" instead of anything with horror themes being associated with "survival" by default

2021 is probably better as an intro, has more extra chapters than 2016 as well. You can replay 2016 if you turn into a real-head along the way, it has one extra chapter that isn't in 2021 (but I think got remade in the most recent "Tetrology" release on switch?).
