My unsolicited opinion on how to improve BtB:
Don’t 🪓 a band every ep, alternate btwn immunity & elimination challenges.
Give the top 3 bands a team of producers/writers to work with to write their own song & shoot music videos for each.
Increase ep count & spread release from 3 weeks to 5.

Netflix’s Building the Band was cute, but felt half-asses and rushed. With network competition shows like American Idol & the Voice becoming more than a little stale, streamers have an opportunity to take over, but if they want to stay relevant for more than a few weeks they need to do more.

So sad about WoT 😫😭

Why in romance novels do men never wear underwear? Why is it a trope that going commando is manly? It grosses me out every time I read it. I used to love to go to concerts or plays or the ballet, etc- but now it’s so damn expensive. I used to be able to get tickets for most things for less than 50$, now tickets are easily 3x that for off day, nose bleed seats. How does anyone afford to do things anymore?

This is a crime!

A buzz feed question asking how you pronounce mischievous. The options are “miss-chuh-viss”, “miss-cheevus”, “miss-cheev-ee-is” or other.

Am I the only one who pronounces this word differently based on how it’s used? For me you cause “miss-chuh-viss” when you’re being “mis-cheev-ee-is”.

Ok, I know, the depopcalypse has its roots in serious racist, white supremacist garbage, with an added helping of 1%-er capitalist anxiety at what a smaller consumer base might do to their overstuffed pockets. Meaning there are some powerful people *cough* “E-Lawn” *cough* steering the message.

Every time I see someone claiming “depopulation” (as in lower birth rates) is an existential crisis, it makes me want to pull my hair out. With flat-earthers it’s easy to roll my eyes and ignore them as idiots, but many of the depop people are educated, how can they fall for something so stupid?!!!

I’ve come across copy cat books before, but this one is needlessly similar. Stupid details that could be easily changed w/o plot damage are the same. One of the main characters even has a nearly identical name (only the first letter is different).
