We’re using YarnSpinner to handle dialogue in Nightmare Operator! It’s a great tool and we heavily recommend it to any other indie developers looking for a dialogue solution.

BTW if you need another reason to follow this team and their game Nightmare Operator: I'm executive producer on it. I've been working with them on the side for over a year, helping to focus the story, hone the vibes, and crunch the mechanics.

Misha's three-stage melee combo is a powerful tool for dispatching Youkai at close range. The second and third stages of the combo can be altered by inputting different movement directions during the combo (forward, side, etc.)
