So if 5 million people protested peacefully with the exception of some purposeful MAGA agitators, there would seem to be no need for the Marines nor the National Guard to be deployed anywhere.

That should weigh heavily in the Tuesday hearing on the lawsuit that challenges their deployment.

Inhumane? Yes. But then when has war aver been humane. Now machines will carry it out themselves. It is no longer science fiction. It is science fact.

It will be fast, brutal and anything larger than a motorcycle will be an easy target for destruction. Yes, even helicopters and jets.

The wars in Ukraine and the Mideast have taught us that. Or most of us, anyway.

I think the most interesting part of Trump's military parade is that all of those weapons trudging along the route are already obsolete. Drones have made them so. Future wars will be fought remotely accompanied by AI.
