Pardoning the Whitmer kidnapping guys would be, relatively, one of the more defensible Trump pardons, in that there's an articulable defense.

The Whitmer plot was a classic case of the FBI egging on some goobers who lacked the wherewithal to do much without informants literally driving them around.
