4ish years ago, I was at Home Depot and was given a few plants that were "dead" and about to be thrown away. This lil lilac was basically a sad empty stick. It's slowly grown a few shoots at a time. This year is the first time it bloomed, and I'm so happy! Persistence and care finally paid off 🖤🌸

I feel this 😅 I just got some colorwork done on my arm, and I told my artist how hard I try to be a good canvas, but 4 hours in I was dying a lil bit 😭

An embroidery project on black fabric in a fake wood hoop, featuring a gnarled witch's broom surrounded by 4 kinds of flowers in purple & white

Finally completed my first embroidery project! Room for improvement, but happy with it overall.
A witch's broom with herbs used in medieval "flying ointments"- hemlock, belladonna, aconite, and henbane. These hallucinogenic herbs, when rubbed on the skin, produced out-of-body experiences aka"flying"
