One thing I like about game awards season is that you will find a new gem or two that you weren’t aware of. In the past it was 80 Days, which got a GOTY from Time in 2014. Brilliant experience!

This year Balatro might do just that. Very fun rogue like that is incredibly addictive to play.

Saw Gladiator 2 the other day. Although I did enjoy my time with it, it’s definitely not a movie that left a strong lasting impression. It felt small, misses some truly epic beats and somehow the music was absent. Cast was fine, but the characters they played, and their stories felt underwhelming.
