My understanding is this isn’t uncommon. The JAGs I graduated law school with did stints in a USA office. That was twenty years ago.

I believe several were detailed to DC when Jan 6 cases flooded the dockets.

Not unheard of. JAGs I graduated law school with almost all had stints being assigned to a USA office.

Copyright requires distribution to the public, but I’d bet there are competing definitions in other federal statutes
